The Bed & Breakfast Hotel Sonnleitn

The Bed & Breakfast Hotel Sonnleitn is just a stone's throw away from its sister hotel Ebner’s Waldhof am See. Lake Fuschl is, so to speak, right on your doorstep, surrounded by magnificent Salzkammergut Lake District countryside. So that you can enjoy your holiday from the very moment you arrive, you can find out all you need to know here. Extra Beds

Extra beds are available for adults and young persons of 16 years and older. For guests sleeping in extra beds we charge 40 % of the per person price per day including breakfast. 

Tranquil Hotel Sonnleitn

Our hotel is only bookable for guests of 16 years and over. This is because we would like to provide our guests with a very special holiday haven, in tranquillity and undisturbed comfort.  

Can you holiday with your dog?

We are happy to welcome you and your four-legged friend to our hotel. This is however limited to one dog per room. We charge € 15 per day (without food) and once € 15 for final cleaning. Unfortunately, we can only take so many dogs at any particular time so it is imperative that you mention that you will be bringing your dog with you when you book. 

Arrive, departures and payment 

Your rooms are ready for you from 3 p.m. on the day of your arrive and must be vacated by 11 a.m. on the day of departure. Check-in, check-out, payment and the receipt of information takes place at the reception of Ebner's Waldhof. 

Smokers

We would kindly ask you not to smoke in your rooms. All rooms are non-smoker rooms. Should guests smoke in the rooms an addition fee of at least € 130 will be charged. You are free to smoke on the balcony of your room. Thank you for your understanding. 

Breakfast

Our rich and varied breakfast buffet is served daily from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Weather permitting, you can also enjoy "the most important meal of the day" on the Sonnleitn sun terrace with magnificent views of Lake Fuschl. The buffet provides everything from fresh fruit and honey from the region to crispy rolls and steaming coffee. 

Reservations

Your reservation is considered fix as soon as you receive a written confirmation and the deposit has been paid. For last minute bookings the deposit can also be paid at the Ebner's Waldhof hotel reception when you check-in.  

Waldhof included extras

Guests staying at the Bed & Breakfast Hotel Sonnleitn can enjoy a wide range of facilities and activities free of charge: The activity programme for example which includes accompanied cycling tours, cycle hire, hikes, tennis as well as discounts on passenger boat rides on the Waldhof boat the "Fuschlerin", horse-drawn carriage rides, at the mountain hut restaurant "Waldhof Alm" and at the Waldhof Golf Club on green fees and for introductory golf courses. 

The attractive wellness and dining facilities at Ebner’s Waldhof am See can only be booked as part of the Waldhof Full Enjoyment Package from €65, depending on capacity. Please ask at reception if there are free availibilty for a nice table in the Gütl Stubn for you.

You can pay your hotel bill in cash, by EC cash-point card, by credit card (VISA, MasterCard /Eurocard) or prior to your arrival by bank transfer to our bank account:

Cancellations

• free cancellation up to 3 weeks prior to arrival
• up to 2 weeks prior to arrival day 40%
• up to 1 week prior to arrival day 70%
• less than 1 week prior to arrival 90% of the total arrangement price.

The Austrian Hotel Industry Regulations apply. 

The best thing to do is to safeguard yourself from unnecessary costs when you book. Please ask for our travel cancellation insurance.
